TIM LARSEN is in his first year as Treynor Elementary Principal after five years of teaching there. TIM reported that the new building addition was on schedule to be finished in August for the next school year. This will greatly increase classroom and other facility space and allow for more complete education services to meet the increasing enrollment at the elementary school. TIM explained the successful High School Cadet Teaching program where high school students help elementary teachers. TIM noted the long list of parent/adult volunteers also available to help the teachers, especially during special seasonal activities.
